Remuneration Policy: Board members are only entitled to an expense allowance or a minimum attendance fee regarding any activities they perform in their capacity as policymakers of the foundation.

Stichting Positive Global Change Foundation ANBI Policy Plan

1. Introduction

The work of the Stichting Positive Global Change Foundation is founded on the principle that our world, encompassing every human being, every animal, and the entire natural environment, is unique. This uniqueness must be fostered, protected, and preserved for future generations.

To this end, the foundation aims to support institutions and their projects, as well as initiate its own projects where appropriate, that contribute to ensuring individuals of all ages can lead financially and physically healthy lives, form fulfilling social relationships, and access social participation through support and education. Moreover, the foundation advocates for the well-being of animals, ensuring they are afforded a life appropriate to their species in water, on land, and in the air. This includes the preservation of their respective habitats.

2. Statutory Framework

Objectives.

  1. The work of the Foundation is founded on the principle that our world, encompassing every human being, every animal, and the entire natural environment, is unique. This uniqueness must be fostered, protected, and preserved for future generations.
    To this end, the Foundation aims to support institutions and their projects, as well as initiate its own projects where appropriate, that contribute to ensuring individuals of all ages can lead financially and physically healthy lives, form fulfilling social relationships, and access social participation through support and education, to advocate for the well-being of animals, ensuring they are afforded a life appropriate to their species in water, on land, and in the air, including the preservation of their respective habitats, and to perform all such further acts and activities as are in the widest sense connected therewith, incidental thereto and/or which may be conducive thereto.

  2. The Foundation shall make every effort inter alia to attain and accomplish its objectives by:

    a.Promoting the care of the youth and elderly: Supporting initiatives that enhance the quality of life for both the young and the elderly, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary for their well-being;

    b. Promoting the upbringing and education of children and young people: Facilitating projects and programs that contribute to the comprehensive education and nurturing of children and young people, empowering them to reach their full potential;

    c. Promoting the international sentiment and the idea of international understanding: Encouraging a global perspective and fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between different cultures and nations;

    d. Promoting the animal welfare: Advocating for and supporting efforts that ensure animals are provided with a life appropriate to their species, including the preservation and protection of their natural habitats, as well as supporting animal sanctuaries where animals rescued from situations of risk or abuse can enjoy a second chance at life, full of love and dignity;

    e. Promoting art and culture: Supporting artistic and cultural initiatives that enrich communities and foster a deeper appreciation of diverse cultural expressions;

    f. Promoting nature conservation and landscape management: Engaging in and supporting activities on environmental protection, including climate change mitigation, coastal protection, and flood prevention;

    g. Promoting the development cooperation: Facilitating international development projects that aim to improve the quality of life in underdeveloped and developing regions through sustainable practices and resource management;

    h. Promoting sport: Encouraging the participation in and development of sports as a means of fostering physical health, teamwork, and community spirit.

  3. The objectives of the Foundation include accepting (or renouncing or not accepting) acquisitions under inheritance law or gift, even if a condition or obligation is attached thereto.

  4. The objective of the Foundation is not to gain profits.

Assets.

  1. The assets of the Foundation will be formed and created from:
    a. subsidies and other contributions;
    b. gifts, bequests and legacies;
    c. all other acquisitions and gains.
  2. The Foundation may accept bequests only with the benefit of inventory.

3. Activities of Positive Global Change Foundation

Based on the foundational principles outlined in the introduction the concrete objectives of the Stichting Positive Global Change Foundation are as follows.

a) Promote the care of the Youth and Elderly: Supporting initiatives that enhance the quality of life for both the young and the elderly, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary for their well-being.

b) Promote the Upbringing and Education of Children and Young People: Facilitating projects and programs that contribute to the comprehensive education and nurturing of children and young people, empowering them to reach their full potential.

c) Promote the International Sentiment and the Idea of International Understanding: Encouraging a global perspective and fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between different cultures and nations.

d) Promote the Animal Welfare: Advocating for and supporting efforts that ensure animals are provided with a life appropriate to their species, including the preservation and protection of their natural habitats. We will also support animal sanctuaries where animals rescued from situations of risk or abuse can enjoy a second chance at life, full of love and dignity.

e) Promote Art and Culture: Supporting artistic and cultural initiatives that enrich communities and foster a deeper appreciation of diverse cultural expressions.

f) Promote Nature Conservation and Landscape Management: Engaging in and supporting activities on environmental protection, including climate change mitigation, coastal protection, and flood prevention: focus here is also the protection of the Amazonas Forest as “the earth’s lung”.

g) Promote the Development Cooperation: Facilitating international development projects that aim to improve the quality of life in underdeveloped and developing regions through sustainable practices and resource management.

h) Promote Sport: Encouraging the participation in and development of sports as a means of fostering physical health, teamwork, and community spirit. We will extend and implement our "Spiel, Spaß und Bewegung" program to the Netherlands. Through this initiative, Positive Global Change e.V. in Germany supports children and families who cannot afford sports classes or membership in sports clubs by covering their tuition and fees for one year.

3.1 Envisaged projects of Positive Global Change Foundation

As the activities of the Foundation will focus on the above-mentioned focus areas under a) through h), the Foundation has three projects that are envisaged to be realized soon:

Promote the Animal Welfare

The Foundation will support animal sanctuaries where animals rescued from situations of risk or abuse can enjoy a second chance at life, full of love and dignity. One of these Sanctuaries called Mon La Bassa is located in Tarragona, Spain and is supported already many years by Positive Global Change e.V. (Germany). This sanctuary we will also support through this stichting.

Promote Nature Conservation and Landscape Management
The Foundation will prioritize the protection of the Amazon by purchasing estates specifically for conservation purposes and is currently selecting the most suitable estates.

Promote Sport
To encourage participation in and development of sports, the Foundation will extend and implement the "Spiel, Spaß und Bewegung" program to the Netherlands. Through this initiative, Positive Global Change e.V. in Germany supports children and families who cannot afford sports classes or membership in sports clubs by covering their tuition and fees for one year.

4. Finance of Positive Global Change Foundation

The assets of the Foundation shall consist of contributions made by other entities who have the right to bear the name and use the trademark Positive Global Change. Subsidies, donations, grants, legacies, bequests, and all other forms of income will also be sourced from external parties. The foundation will actively seek additional contributors.

5. Governance of Positive Global Change

Positive Global Change foundation has been incorporated on 3 July 2024. As per the date of the incorporation of Positive Global Change Foundation, the board has the following members:

  1. Maria Angeles Muñoz Estapé (Chairwoman);
  2. Sarai Laia Jacobs Muñoz (Treasurer);
  3. Jannes Jacobs Muñoz (Secretary);
  4. Simon Stolzenbach (Vice-Chairman).

The board members of the Foundation are not remunerated in their capacity as board member and are only entitles to a non-excessive attendance fee and an expense allowance.
